About Teresa
Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.
Hi, I’m Teresa. I’m an ICU nurse by training — IV League alum — and now serve as a nurse executive, chief nursing officer, at a small community hospital. I’m also a wife, a “mom-in-training” to a bright, kind-hearted thirteen-year-old named Ella, a part-time farmer, baker, and co-creator with my husband in our family’s growing farm venture. Life is full, layered, and beautifully imperfect — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Over the years, I’ve learned that caring for others begins with caring for ourselves. Between leadership, family, and farm life, I’ve had to find (and fiercely protect) moments of stillness — whether that’s through yoga, walking with friends, or simply breathing in the quiet of the fields. Wellness isn’t something I chase anymore; it’s something I try to live, imperfectly and intentionally, every day.
Through my work and writing, I explore how we can lead with empathy, build healthier work environments, and nurture resilience — in nursing, in our homes, and in our hearts. My hope is that what you find here inspires you to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and honor the balance between doing and being.
Welcome to my little corner of the world — where wellness meets real life, and where we remember that caring for ourselves is the first act of leadership.
Please join me on this wellness journey!
Be well,
Teresa
